1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1822
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 1822 as follows:
3 on page 1, line 7, after "person" by inserting "(i)"; and
4 on page 1, line 9, after "Corps," by inserting "(ii)"; and
5 on page 1, line 11, by replacing "and" with "(iii) and"; and
6 on page 1, line 15, by replacing "and" with "(iv) and"; and
7 on page 1, line 16, after "service" by inserting the
8 following:
9 "or who has been given a general discharge under honorable
10 conditions because he or she refused to be vaccinated against
11 Anthrax due to concerns about the safety of the vaccination";
12 and
13 on page 1, line 16, after "and", by inserting "(v)"; and
14 on page 1, line 27, after "veteran", by inserting "(i)"; and
15 on page 1, line 27, by replacing "and" with "(ii) and"; and
16 on page 1, line 29, after "and", by inserting "(iii)"; and
17 on page 1, line 30, by replacing "service," with the
18 following:
19 "service or who was given a general discharge under honorable

2 Anthrax due to concerns about the safety of the
3 vaccination,"; and
4 on page 1, line 31, after "proof", by inserting ","; and
5 on page 2, line 11, after "he", by inserting "or she"; and
6 on page 2, line 11, after "service", by inserting the
7 following:
8 "or had been given a general discharge under honorable
9 conditions because he or she refused to be vaccinated against
10 Anthrax due to concerns about the safety of the vaccination";
11 and
12 on page 2, line 34, after "States", by inserting the
13 following:
14 "(unless the veteran received a general discharge under
15 honorable conditions because he or she refused to be
16 vaccinated against Anthrax due to concerns about the safety
17 of the vaccination)".
