 1                    AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1692

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend House Bill  1692  on  page  1,
 3    line 13, after "schools", by inserting the following:
 4    "and  that  these  methods  are  most effective when they are
 5    respectful of individuals and their divergent viewpoints  and
 6    religious beliefs, which are protected by the First Amendment
 7    to the Constitution of the United States"; and

 8    on  page  1,  line  19,  after  "conflict.", by inserting the
 9    following:
10    "The activities must be respectful of individuals  and  their
11    divergent   viewpoints   and  religious  beliefs,  which  are
12    protected by the First Amendment to the Constitution  of  the
13    United States.".
