 1        AN ACT in relation to taxes.

 2        Be it enacted by the People of  the  State  of  Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section  5.  The Property Tax Code is amended by changing
 5    Section 15-125 as follows:

 6        (35 ILCS 200/15-125)
 7        Sec. 15-125.  Parking areas. Parking areas, not leased or
 8    used for profit, when used as a part of a use  for  which  an
 9    exemption  is  provided  by this Code and owned by any school
10    district,  non-profit  hospital,  school,  or  religious   or
11    charitable institution which meets the qualifications for the
12    exemption, are exempt.
