 1                     AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 978

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend House Bill 978 as follows:

 3    on  page  7,  line  23,  by  inserting  after  "offense"  the
 4    following:
 5    "involving the illegal manufacture of a controlled  substance
 6    under  Section  401 of the Illinois Controlled Substances Act
 7    or the illegal possession of explosives".
