 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend House Bill 593 as follows:
 3    on page 1,  line  27,  by  replacing  "person  if  the"  with
 4    "person."; and

 5    on page 1, by deleting line 28; and

 6    on  page  2,  line  5,  after  "neglect",  by  inserting  "in
 7    accordance with applicable law".
