                                 MOTION

          I move to accept  the  specific  recommendations  of  the
      Governor as to House Bill 549 in manner and form as follows:
                       AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 549
               IN ACCEPTANCE OF GOVERNOR'S RECOMMENDATIONS
          Amend House Bill 549 as follows:
      on page 2, after line 2, by inserting the following:

          "Section 99.  Effective date.  This Act takes effect July
      1, 2002.".
