 1                     AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 512

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend House Bill 512 as follows:

 3    on page 1,  line  29,  by  inserting  after  the  period  the
 4    following:

 5    "Nothing  in this amendatory Act of the 92nd General Assembly
 6    shall be construed as allowing an owner of a mineral interest
 7    in coal to mine and remove the coal by the surface method  of
 8    mining  without  first  obtaining  the  consent of all of the
 9    owners of the surface to the mining and removal  of  coal  by
10    the surface method of mining.".
