 1                     AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 273

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend House  Bill  273  on  page  1,
 3    after line 5, by inserting the following:

 4        "Section  5.  Exemptions.  This Act does not apply to any
 5    of the following:
 6             (1)  the construction, remodeling, or  repair  of  a
 7        detached single family residence on a single lot; or
 8             (2)  the  construction,  remodeling,  or  repair  of
 9        multi-family buildings.".
