1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to
3 express their sincere condolences to the family and friends
4 of Nicholas P. Viola, who passed away on December 17, 2000;
5 and
6 WHEREAS, Nicholas P. Viola was born on January 14, 1930
7 in Aurora, Illinois to Grace and Leon Viola; and
8 WHEREAS, Nicholas Viola was a member of Our Lady of Good
9 Counsel Church and Choir; he was a member of the Kiwanis Club
10 of Aurora and the Knights of Columbus; and
11 WHEREAS, Nicholas P. Viola was the owner and operator of
12 Vista Administrators for 18 years; he served in the United
13 States Marine Corps and was later active in many charitable
14 organizations; and
15 WHEREAS, The passing of Nicholas P. Viola will be deeply
16 felt by all who knew and loved him, especially his wife
17 Normalee M. Viola; his daughters, Marilee Viola and Michele
18 Viola; his brothers and sisters, Leo (wife, Carol) Viola,
19 Evelyn Makris, and Donald (wife, Donna) Viola, his aunts,
20 Jenni Orstead and Josephine (husband, Harold) Ray; his
21 brother-in-law, Richard Wertepny; his nephews, Brian Viola
22 and Gregory Viola; and his niece, Tracey (husband, Tim)
23 Griffin; therefore, be it
24 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIRST GENERAL
25 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
26 all who knew him, the death of Nicholas P. Viola of Aurora,
27 Illinois; and be it further
28 RESOLVED, That a copy of this resolution be presented to
29 the family of Nicholas P. Viola.
