1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to
3 express their sincere condolences to the family and friends
4 of Mary Hoffmann, who recently passed away; and
5 WHEREAS, Mary Hoffmann was born in Belleville, Illinois
6 on May 18, 1912; she married Leroy August Hoffmann on June
7 22, 1935; and
8 WHEREAS, Mary Hoffmann was a member of St. Teresa
9 Catholic Church in Belleville; she was a member of the St.
10 Teresa Perpetual Help Sodality; her life was dedicated to
11 caring for her family; she was a homemaker known for her
12 fried chicken and potato salad and her many cakes and pies;
13 and
14 WHEREAS, The passing of Mary Hoffmann will be deeply felt
15 by all who knew and loved her, especially her children,
16 Donald Hoffmann, Janice (husband, Dick) Roy, Kathleen
17 Hoffmann, Robert (wife, JoAnn) Hoffmann, Teresa (husband,
18 Steve) Jines, Jim Hoffmann, Michael (wife, Kim) Hoffmann, and
19 Roger (wife, Jan) Hoffmann; her son-in-law, August "Gus"
20 Lohmann; her sister, Elizabeth Schneeberger; her
21 grandchildren, Mary Barbara (husband, Jim) Kurtz, Michele
22 (husband, Doug) Binkley, Donna Roy, Kevin Roy, Julie
23 (husband, Curt) Hanson, Jeff Hoffmann, Joe Hoffmann, Becky
24 Hoffmann, Josh (wife, Sharon) Hoffmann, Carrie (husband,
25 Craig) Litteken, Keith Hoffmann, Erika (husband, Jeffrey)
26 Dunning, Chris Hoffmann, Matthew Jines, Jessica Jines,
27 Michael Hoffmann, Emma Hoffmann, and Andrew Hoffmann; and her
28 great-grandchildren, Brandon Binkley, Brooke Binkley, Jakob
29 Kurtz, and Kristin Kurtz; therefore, be it
30 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIRST GENERAL
31 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
32 her many loved ones, the death of Mary Hoffmann of

2 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
3 presented to the family of Mary Hoffmann.
