1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to
3 extend their sincere sympathy to the family and friends of
4 Peter F. Perricone of Hawthorn Woods, Illinois, who recently
5 passed away; and
6 WHEREAS, Peter F. Perricone was born in 1950 in Chicago,
7 Illinois; Peter F. Perricone attended Holy Cross High School
8 in River Grove, Illinois and graduated in 1968; he joined the
9 United States Marines in 1968 and served his country in
10 Vietnam and Okinawa from 1969 to 1970; at the age of nineteen
11 he was promoted to Sergeant and was honorably discharged in
12 1971; and
13 WHEREAS, Peter F. Perricone is remembered by many as a
14 man who loved his family and others; he is remembered as a
15 caring individual who put others before himself; and
16 WHEREAS, Mr. Perricone was the president of Vista
17 Services from 1971 until his passing; he was a member of the
18 Illinois Automatic Merchandising Council and the National
19 Automatic Merchandising Council; he was a charter member of
20 the Better Vendors Association; he also held many offices in
21 the Illinois Automatic Merchandising Council, including
22 Governor and Chairman; and
23 WHEREAS, The passing of Peter F. Perricone will be felt
24 by all that knew him, especially his wife and son, Cathy and
25 Peter Perricone; his daughter, Sara (John) Giamarusti and
26 their daughter, Mia; his father, Sam C. Perricone; and his
27 brothers, Sam M. Perricone and Michael Perricone; therefore,
28 be it
29 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIRST GENERAL
30 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
31 all that knew him, the death of Peter F. Perricone of

2 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
3 presented to the family of Peter F. Perricone.
