1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Senate were saddened to learn
3 of the recent death of Ronald J. "Hutch" Hutcherson of
4 Chicago; and
5 WHEREAS, He was born on February 25, 1966 to the union of
6 Eddie and the late Shirley Hutcherson; he made his First
7 Communion at St. James Catholic Church in Maywood; and
8 WHEREAS, He attended St. Joseph High School in
9 Westchester and Western Illinois University in Macomb; and in
10 1985, he was initiated into the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity,
11 Zeta Mu Chapter, BKA ("Z Gang"); and
12 WHEREAS, On November 2, 1996, Mr. Hutcherson married
13 Charlene Ries, and on April 24, 1998 Ronald Jamal Hutcherson
14 II was born; and
15 WHEREAS, Hutch will long be remembered for his kindness
16 and sense of humor; he was committed to educating and
17 mentoring youth as demonstrated in his profession as a
18 Violence Interruption Educator at T.A.S.C.; and
19 WHEREAS, His passing will be deeply felt by his family
20 and friends, especially by his wife, Charlene; his son, R.J.;
21 his father, Eddie; his sister, Erica; his grandmother, Rose;
22 his friends of twenty years, Rodney Cager and Van Cox; his
23 line brothers, Tony Sanford and Laird Rencher; and his very
24 close friend, Senator Kimberly Lightford; therefore, be it
25 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIRST GENERAL
26 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we note with sorrow
27 and regret the death of Ronald J. "Hutch" Hutcherson and
28 extend our sincere condolences to his family and friends; and
29 be it further
30 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be

1 presented to his widow, Charlene Hutcherson.
