 1                  AMENDMENT TO HOUSE RESOLUTION 552

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend House Resolution 552  on  page
 3    1, by replacing line 21 with the following:
 4    "and

 5        WHEREAS,  4.3  cents  per gallon is now charged on diesel
 6    fuel to railroads by the federal  government;  therefore,  be
 7    it"; and

 8    on page 1, after line 25, by inserting the following:

 9        "RESOLVED, That we urge Congress to use the money charged
10    on  diesel  fuel  to  railroads by the federal government for
11    grade crossing improvements; and be it further".
