 1        AN ACT concerning the office of Comptroller.

 2        Be  it  enacted  by  the People of the State of Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section 5.  The  Comptroller  Merit  Employment  Code  is
 5    amended by changing Section 1 as follows:

 6        (15 ILCS 410/1) (from Ch. 15, par. 401)
 7        Sec. 1. Title; application.   This Act shall be known and
 8      may  be cited as the Comptroller Merit Employment Code, and
 9    shall  apply  to  employment  within  the   Office   of   the
10    Comptroller of the State of Illinois.

12        Section  10.  The Comptroller's Records Act is amended by
13    changing Section 4 as follows:

14        (15 ILCS 415/4) (from Ch. 15, par. 28)
15        Sec.  4.  Specifications.  Such  Photographic   film   or
16    electronic  media  retention  shall  comply  with the minimum
17    standards  of  quality  approved   by   the   State   Records
18    Commission, and the device used to reproduce records shall be
19    one  which  accurately reproduces the original thereof in all
20    details.
