 1                    AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1958

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend House Bill 1958  by  replacing
 3    the title with the following:
 4        "AN  ACT to amend the Illinois Income Tax Act by changing
 5    Section 1106."; and

 6    by replacing everything after the enacting  clause  with  the
 7    following:

 8        "Section  5.   The  Illinois Income Tax Act is amended by
 9    changing Section 1106 as follows:

10        (35 ILCS 5/1106) (from Ch. 120, par. 11-1106)
11        Sec. 1106. Nonliability for costs. The  Department  shall
12    not be required to furnish any bond nor to make a deposit for
13    or pay any costs or fees of any court or officer of the court
14      thereof in any legal proceedings pursuant to the provisions
15    of this Act.
