1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to
3 express their sympathy to the family of Joseph A. Rife of
4 Decatur, Illinois; and
5 WHEREAS, Joe Rife was born in Decatur, Illinois to Frank
6 A. and Lottie Weltmer Rife; on November 4, 1939, he married
7 his loving wife Rosemond Kruzan; and
8 WHEREAS, Joe Rife was a member of Boiling Springs Church
9 of God; Mr. Rife was a member of the Warrensburg Lions Club;
10 he was retired from his position as wholesale supervisor for
11 Meadow Gold Dairy; after his retirement he worked at
12 Warrensburg-Latham High School as the head custodian and for
13 the Macon County Highway Department; and
14 WHEREAS, Joseph Rife is survived by his loving wife; his
15 daughters, Pat Weaver and her husband Jim, Jolien Catlin and
16 her husband John, and Donna Ginther; his sister Marie Eads
17 and her husband Paul; eight grandchildren; and three
18 great-grandchildren; therefore, be it
19 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETIETH GENERAL ASSEMBLY
20 OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his
21 family and friends, the death of Joseph A. "Joe" Rife of
22 Decatur, Illinois; and be it further
23 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
24 presented to the family of Joseph Rife, along with our
25 sincere condolences.
