          Appropriates $150,000 to the State Fire  Marshall  for  a
      grant  to the Ewing Northern Fire Protection District for all
      costs associated with the construction of a  fire  protection
      center.  Effective July 1, 1998.

 1        AN ACT making appropriations.
 2        Be  it  enacted  by  the People of the State of Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:
 4        Section 5.  The amount of $150,000, or so  much  of  that
 5    amount as may be necessary, is appropriated to the State Fire
 6    Marshall  for  a  grant to the Ewing Northern Fire Protection
 7    District for all costs associated with the construction of  a
 8    fire protection center.
 9        Section  99.   Effective  date.  This Act takes effect on
10    July 1, 1998.
