          Amends the School Code to repeal Sections that prohibit a
      student from using  or  having  a  pocket  pager  or  similar
      electronic paging device.  Effective immediately.

 1        AN  ACT  to  amend  the School Code by repealing Sections
 2    10-21.10 and 34-18.9.
 3        Be it enacted by the People of  the  State  of  Illinois,
 4    represented in the General Assembly:
 5        (105 ILCS 5/10-21.10 rep.)
 6        (105 ILCS 5/34-18.9 rep.)
 7        Section  5.  The  School  Code  is  amended  by repealing
 8    Sections 10-21.10 and 34-18.9.
 9        Section 99.  Effective date.  This Act takes effect  upon
10    becoming law.
