          Appropriates $75,000 to the  Illinois  Community  College
      Board for awarding scholarships to graduates of the Probation
      Challenge Program. Effective July 1, 1998.

 1        AN  ACT making an appropriation to the Illinois Community
 2    College Board.
 3        Be it enacted by the People of  the  State  of  Illinois,
 4    represented in the General Assembly:
 5        Section 5.  The sum of $75,000, or so much of that amount
 6    as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue
 7    Fund  to  the  Illinois  Community College Board for awarding
 8    scholarships to graduates of the Probation Challenge Program.
 9        Section 99.  Effective date.  This Act takes effect  July
10    1, 1998.
