(750 ILCS 46/105)

Sec. 105. Authority to establish parentage. The circuit courts are authorized to establish parentage under this Act. The Department of Healthcare and Family Services may make an administrative determination of parentage or non-parentage in accordance with Section 10-17.7 of the Illinois Public Aid Code. Such administrative determinations shall have the full force and effect of court judgments entered under this Act.
