(625 ILCS 5/3-307) (from Ch. 95 1/2, par. 3-307)

Sec. 3-307. Short term permit. The Secretary of State shall issue at no charge a short term permit to a licensed rebuilder for (i) any vehicle for which an application for a certificate of title for a rebuilt vehicle will be submitted or (ii) any vehicle which is or may have been salvaged and which must be driven on the roads and highways of this State to a place of inspection.
