SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Donald P. Kaiser of Woodstock, who passed 
4away on November 28, 2016; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Donald Kaiser was born in Chicago to Paul and 
6Catherine (O'Neill) Kaiser on August 19, 1936; he married 
7Carole Ann McLean at Saint Juliana Church in Chicago
on October 
815, 1966; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Donald Kaiser served as Greenwood Township 
10Supervisor for 29 years; he was a member of the Illinois 
11National Guard for six  years and served on the board at Helping 
12Paws; he enjoyed keeping up with local politics and served as 
13an election judge; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Donald Kaiser was a lifelong Chicago Cubs and 
15Bears fan; he enjoyed history, transportation museums, 
16watching his grandchildren participate in sporting events, and 
17nature photography; and
  
 
18    WHEREAS, Donald Kaiser was preceded in death by his 
19parents; and
  
 
20    WHEREAS, Donald Kaiser is survived by his wife of 50 years,

1Carole Ann Kaiser; his son, Donald (Dori) Kaiser Jr.; his 
2daughter, Cheryl (Frank) McCormick; his grandchildren, Allison 
3and Jeffrey Kaiser; his sisters, Norene (Lee) Zulawinski, and 
4Joyce Schoene; and many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
  
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
7Donald P. Kaiser, and extend our sincere condolences to his 
8family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
9further
  
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
11presented to  the family of  Donald Kaiser as an expression of 
12our deepest sympathy.
