SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of George W. Fitzmaurice, who passed away on 
4January 15, 2016; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, George Fitzmaurice  was born in Chicago on February 
63, 1921; he graduated from Lane Tech High School in Chicago; he  
7joined the United States Army Air Force and served in the 
8European Theater during World War II; he  married Helen Tulisalo 
9in 1942 and was honorably discharged from the military on 
10November 21, 1945; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, George Fitzmaurice  worked for United Airlines and 
12later the Federal Aviation Administration for 22 years; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, George Fitzmaurice  married Joan Regelbrugge in 
142001 after the passing of his wife of 58 years, Helen; and
  
 
  
15    WHEREAS, George Fitzmaurice  is survived by his wife, Joan; 
16therefore, be it
  
 
17    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
18ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
19George W. Fitzmaurice, and extend our sincere condolences to 
20his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
