SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Timothy Kerber Letten, who passed away on 
4December 2, 2015; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Timothy Letten was born on April 14, 1993; his 
6parents were Bruce and Lauretta Letten; he spent his life in 
7Deerfield, where he attended Holy Cross School, Shepard Middle 
8School, and was a graduate of Deerfield High School, Class of 
92011; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Timothy Letten was involved in Boy Scouts, the 
11Concert Band, where he played the alto sax, and served as a 
12Eucharistic Minister at his church; he was a talented swimmer 
13from a young age and a member of the Deerfield High School 
14varsity swimming and water polo teams; he also helped establish 
15the Deerfield High School Sailing Club; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Timothy Letten was preceded in death by his 
17grandfather, Joseph Reising; and

  
 
18    WHEREAS, Timothy Letten is survived by his parents; his 
19brothers, Matthew, Michael, and James; his grandparents, 
20Nicholas and Barbara Letten and Geraldine Reising; and his many 
21aunts, uncles, and cousins; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
3family and friends, mourn the passing of Timothy Kerber Letten; 
4and be it further
  
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to the family of Timothy Letten as an expression of 
7our sympathy.
