SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Isabelle D. Yunowich of Spring Grove, who 
4passed away on May 8, 2015; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Isabelle Yunowich was born on September 1, 1918 in 
6Stevens Point, Wisconsin; her parents were Matthew and Martha 
7(nee Chileski) Wilkowski; she married Edward Yunowich on 
8September 22, 1939 in Chicago; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Isabelle Yunowich and her husband were the owners 
10and operators of Isabelle's Restaurant in Richmond for 40 years 
11until her retirement in 1976; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Isabelle Yunowich was a member of the McHenry 
13County Tavern Keepers Association; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Isabelle Yunowich enjoyed spending time with her 
15grandchildren and great-grandchildren, occasional trips to the 
16casino, and the occasional scotch and soda; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, Isabelle Yunowich was preceded in death by her 
18parents; her husband, Edward; 5 sisters, Jean Goodman, Marie 
19Litwitz, Clara DeZanet, Agnes Flentze, and Sophie Wilcoski; and 
205 brothers, Steven, Emil, Leo, Herman, and Robert; and

1    WHEREAS, Isabelle Yunowich is survived by 2 daughters, 
2Bonnie (Lester) Pryor and Isabel "Darlene" Ryan; 2 
3grandchildren, Anthony (Jenny) Pryor and Tara (Michael) 
4Epping; and 6 great-grandchildren, Nathan and Lauren Pryor and 
5Trevor, Tayler, Ashley, and Jared Epping; therefore, be it
  
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
7ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her 
8family and friends, mourn the passing of Isabelle D. Yunowich; 
9and be it further
  
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
11presented to the family of Isabelle Yunowich as an expression 
12of our sympathy.
