SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Ralph G. Gunderson, who passed away on 
4March 9, 2015; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Ralph Gunderson was born on October 30, 1931 in 
6Chicago; his parents were Ellen and Ralph Gunderson; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Ralph Gunderson was the proprietor of Gunderson 
8Plumbing; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Ralph Gunderson enjoyed making people laugh and 
10telling jokes for every occasion; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Ralph Gunderson was preceded in death by his wife 
12of 44 years, Esther; a stepson, Joey; a grandson, Bryon; 2 
13sisters; a brother; and his 4-legged friend, Wolfie; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Ralph Gunderson is survived by 4 daughters, Cheryl 
15(Jay) Cherry, Karen (John) Fallon, Susan (Ulysses) Pinto, and 
16Cindy (Tim) MacDonald; a stepdaughter, Desiree Grossmayer; 7 
17grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and his countless 
18friends; therefore, be it
  
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
2family and friends, mourn the passing of Ralph G. Gunderson; 
3and be it further

5presented to the family of Ralph Gunderson as an expression of 
6our sympathy.
