SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Lawrence Paul "Larry" Polep of Johnsburg, 
4who passed away on March 25, 2015; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Lawrence Polep was born on February 21, 1944 in 
6Chicago; his parents were Harry and Alice (nee Wiszowaty) 
7Polep; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, After high school, Lawrence Polep entered the 
9United States Air Force in 1962, where he was stationed in the 
10Philippines during the Vietnam War; after his discharge from 
11the Air Force in 1966, he married and raised his family in 
12Johnsburg, where he lived for over 41 years; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Lawrence Polep was a tool and die maker for the 
14majority of his career; prior to retirement, he was employed by 
15Temple Steel of Libertyville; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Lawrence Polep was an avid fisherman; he also 
17loved boating, playing cards, and spending time with his 
18children and grandchildren; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Lawrence Polep was preceded in death by his 
20parents and a sister, Bernadette; and

1    WHEREAS, Lawrence Polep is survived by 2 children, Paul 
2Polep and Kevin Polep, and 6 grandchildren, Jarett, Brooklyn, 
3Tanner, Bailey, Saje, and Addisyn; therefore, be it
  
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
6family and friends, mourn the passing of Lawrence Paul "Larry" 
7Polep; and be it further
  
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
9presented to the family of Lawrence Polep as an expression of 
10our sympathy.
