SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Jeannette C. Starritt of Crystal Lake, 
4who passed away on February 14, 2015; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Jeannette Starritt was born in LaFox on March 19, 
61911 to Clarence and Esther (nee Van Nordstrum) Curran; she 
7married Charles W. Starritt in 1937; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Jeannette Starritt was the oldest member of the 
9First United Methodist Church of Crystal Lake; she was a member 
10of P.E.O. and many other organizations throughout her life; she 
11was a valued citizen of Crystal Lake and gladly gave her time 
12and talents to many organizations and causes; and
  
 
  
13    WHEREAS, Jeannette Starritt was preceded in death by her 
14husband, Charles, and her son, Lt. Cdr. Douglas R. Starritt 
15(USN); and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Jeannette Starritt is survived by her son, John 
17(Jeni) Starritt; her sister, Aura; her grandchildren; her 
18great-grandchildren; her nieces and nephews; and her many dear 
19friends; therefore, be it
  
 
20    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
2Jeannette C. Starritt, and extend our sincere condolences to 
3her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it

5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to the family of Jeannette Starritt as an expression 
7of our deepest sympathy.
