SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Ida M. Krause of Harvard, who passed away 
4on February 2, 2015; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Ida Krause was born on July 14, 1936 in Chicago; 
6her parents were Ernst and Isabella (nee Cunig) Heide; she 
7married Paul Krause on July 3, 1955 in Chicago; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Ida Krause was a graduate of Palatine High School, 
9where she was a cheerleader; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Ida Krause enjoyed watching the Chicago Bears, 
11bird watching, listening to classical music, reading books, 
12crossword puzzles, and spending time with her family and 
13friends; she was also a great supporter of all veterans; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Ida Krause was preceded by her husband, Paul; her 
15parents; a daughter, Paula Peterson; a son, Robert B. Krause; 2 
16sisters, Nancy Wiggins and Theo Heide; and 2 brothers, Bob 
17Heide and Don Oeflein; and
  
 
18    WHEREAS, Ida Krause is survived by 4 daughters, Bethann 
19Krause, Janice (Dave) Jaros, Kathy (Aaron) Schroeder, and 
20Joanne Krause; a son, Roy Krause; 15 grandchildren, 10

1great-grandchildren; and a brother, Ernest Heide; therefore,

3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her 
5family and friends, mourn the passing of Ida M. Krause; and be 
6it further
  
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
8presented to the family of Ida Krause as an expression of our 
9sympathy.
