| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Joseph John "Joe" Wallace, III of Homer |
| 4 | | Glen, who passed away on December 20, 2014; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Joseph Wallace, III was born in Joliet; he |
| 6 | | graduated from Ripon College in 1974 and settled in Lockport in |
| 7 | | 1975; and
|
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Joseph Wallace, III was President and CEO with the |
| 9 | | First National Bank of Lockport and remained with the bank |
| 10 | | throughout the years through various owners, ending with First |
| 11 | | Midwest Bank as Sr. Vice-President; and
|
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Joseph Wallace, III was active with SOS Children's |
| 13 | | Villages and Mainstreet in Lockport; and
|
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Joseph Wallace, III enjoyed spending time with his |
| 15 | | family; he was an avid golfer and was a member of the Lockport |
| 16 | | Golf and Recreation Club; and
|
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Joseph Wallace, III is survived by his wife of 39 |
| 18 | | years, Chris (nee Overly); his children, Colleen (Matthew) |
| 19 | | Hindman and Ryan Wallace; his granddaughters, Maisy and Penny |
| 20 | | Hindman; his parents, Joseph, Jr. and Doris (nee Pohl) Wallace; |
