| 2 | | WHEREAS, Senate Joint Resolution 11 of the 99th General |
| 3 | | Assembly created the Electronic Driver's License Task Force to |
| 4 | | examine and make recommendations related to the feasibility and |
| 5 | | cost of the Secretary of State issuing electronic or "virtual" |
| 6 | | driver's licenses to Illinois residents, in addition to |
| 7 | | currently accepted forms of identification; and
|
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Senate Joint Resolution 11 further directed that |
| 9 | | the findings of the Task Force be reported to the General |
| 10 | | Assembly by December 31, 2015; this due date for the report is |
| 11 | | no longer workable given the scope of the Task Force's |
| 12 | | responsibilities; therefore, be it
|
| 13 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL |
| 14 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES |
| 15 | | CONCURRING HEREIN, that the Electronic Driver's License Task |
| 16 | | Force shall meet at least 3 times and shall issue a report of |
| 17 | | its findings and recommendations to the General Assembly on or |
| 18 | | before May 1, 2016; and be it further
|
| 19 | | RESOLVED, That the Task Force is dissolved following the |
| 20 | | filing of its report; and be it further |
| 21 | | RESOLVED, That, with this reporting extension, the Task |
