Amends the Property Tax Code. Provides that a Division of the Code concerning the assessment of wind energy devices applies through assessment year 2021 (instead of 2016). Effective immediately.

| 1 | | AN ACT concerning revenue.

| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 | | Section 5. The Property Tax Code is amended by changing |
| 5 | | Section 10-610 as follows:
|
| 6 | | (35 ILCS 200/10-610) |
| 7 | | Sec. 10-610. Applicability. |
| 8 | | (a) The provisions of this Division apply for assessment |
| 9 | | years 2007 through 2021 2016. |
| 10 | | (b) The provisions of this Division do not apply to wind |
| 11 | | energy devices that are owned by any person or entity that is |
| 12 | | otherwise exempt from taxation under the Property Tax Code.
