| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 | | Representatives wish to congratulate Brent
Herzog, who was |
| 4 | | recently named the Village of Minooka's Officer of the Year; |
| 5 | | and
|
| 6 | | WHEREAS, Officer Herzog has spent 21 years protecting the |
| 7 | | citizens of Minooka as a member
of the Minooka Police |
| 8 | | Department; he has served as a patrolman, high school resource
|
| 9 | | officer, and now a training officer; and
|
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Officer Herzog willingly and selflessly shares |
| 11 | | his wealth of knowledge and
expertise with new hires of the |
| 12 | | Minooka Police Department; and
|
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Officer Herzog was recognized by peers as the |
| 14 | | officer of the year for his work and
dedication to the police |
| 15 | | department and many charities, including Special Olympics, Cop |
| 16 | | on
Top, and Minooka's trivia night fundraiser; therefore, be it
|
| 17 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 18 | | NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we |
| 19 | | congratulate Brent Herzog on
being named the Village of |
| 20 | | Minooka's Officer of the Year, and we thank him for his service |
