HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of  Fred M. 
4Evans, who passed away on September 13, 2015; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Fred Evans was born on January 1, 1930 in New 
6Albany, Mississippi; his parents were "Ches" and Onnie Evans; 
7he married Glenda Allen on August 3, 1980; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Fred Evans retired from Pabst Blue Ribbon in 1981 
9after many years of service; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Fred Evans was an active member of Peoria 
11Friendship Missionary Baptist Church from 1977 until the time 
12of his illness; he was also a member of the Peter H. Clark Elks 
13Lodge #483; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Fred Evans was preceded in death by his parents; 3 
15brothers, Palmer, Roscoe, and Charles Evans; and his sister, 
16Hazel Leaper; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, Fred Evans is survived by his loving wife of 35 
18years, Glenda; together, they had one daughter, Misty (Lonnie) 
19Beasley, and two grandchildren, Jalen Evans and Lonna Beasley; 
20he is also survived by his sons, Doug (Linda), Lawrence, Fred

1(Cathy), and Nate (Lois) Evans; his stepsons, Thomas (Tamara), 
2Timothy (Julia), Tyson, and Tyrin (Matou) Wilson; his godson, 
3Clifford (Debra) Ware; 22 grandchildren; 3 
4great-grandchildren; and his many nieces, nephews, and 
5friends; therefore, be it
  
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
7NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
8we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of 
9Fred M. Evans; and be it further
  
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
11presented to the family of Fred Evans as an expression of our 
12sympathy.
