HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of  Quenton 
4"Q" Demarco Lowe of Peoria, who passed away on August 18, 2015; 
5and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Quenton Lowe was born on February 4, 1994 in 
7Peoria; his parents were Arthur and Laginia (Jamison) Lowe; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Quenton Lowe was a 2012 graduate of Manual High 
9School, where he was a member of the basketball team; he also 
10attended and played basketball at Lincoln Land Community 
11College in Springfield and Illinois Valley Community College in 
12Oglesby; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Quenton Lowe was employed at Kroger as a cashier; 
14he also worked at McDonald's as a cook; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Quenton Lowe was a member of Kingdom Temple Church 
16of God in Christ, where he was active in the Youth Men of 
17Integrity & Youth Department; and
  
 
18    WHEREAS, Quenton Lowe was preceded in death by his 
19grandparents, Gene Thompson, Elizabeth Moore, and Johnnie 
20Jamison; and

1    WHEREAS, Quenton Lowe is survived by his parents; his 
2daughter, Ki'Yah Lowe; his grandmother, Betty Blocker; 3 
3brothers, Arthur, Timothy, and Malik Lowe; and 3 sisters, 
4Kanieca, Kimberly, and LeeAnne Lowe; therefore, be it
  
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
6NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
7we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of 
8Quenton "Q" Demarco Lowe; and be it further
  
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
10presented to the family of Quenton Lowe as an expression of our 
11sympathy.
