HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to congratulate Patrick R. Yost on the 
4occasion of his retirement as Chief of Police of the Wauconda 
5Police Department; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Chief Yost served in the United States Army from 
7May of 1984 through March of 1987; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, After his service, Chief Yost worked as  a 
9dispatcher for both the Gurnee and Grayslake dispatch centers; 
10and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Chief Yost joined the Wauconda Police Department 
12on July 9, 1989; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Chief Yost served in various roles with the 
14Wauconda Police Department, including patrol officer, field 
15training officer, juvenile officer, detective, Sergeant, 
16Detective Sergeant, Deputy Chief, and finally as Chief of 
17Police; and
  
 
18    WHEREAS, Chief Yost's retirement will be official on 
19September 4, 2015; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
2NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we 
3congratulate Patrick R. Yost on his retirement as Chief of 
4Police of the Wauconda Police Department, and we wish him the 
5best in all his future endeavors; and be it further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to Chief Yost as an expression of our esteem and 
8respect.
