HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of  Krisnette 
4Kimberly Harlan, who passed away on June 17, 2015; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Krisnette Harlan was born on May 30, 1962; her 
6parents were Bill and Gwen Harlan; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Krisnette Harlan attended elementary school on 
8the West Side of Chicago and graduated from Lane Technical 
9College Preparatory High School in Chicago; she later attended 
10Wright City College before transferring to South Suburban 
11College in South Holland, where she majored in early child 
12care; she subsequently received several certificates in 
13various disciplines within early child care; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Krisnette Harlan was a member of the Reserve 
15Officer Training Corps (ROTC), where she achieved the rank of 
16Master Sergeant; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, Krisnette Harlan was a believer in God; she 
18practiced her religion at the Valley Kingdom Ministries Church 
19in South Holland, under the pastorate of Bishop H. Daniel 
20Wilson; and

1    WHEREAS, Krisnette Harlan enjoyed cooking; her specialty 
2was spaghetti and macaroni and cheese; and
 
3    WHEREAS, Krisnette Harlan is survived by her parents; a 
4daughter, Angela; a brother, Chris; 4 nephews, Christopher, 
5Malcolm, Jeremiah, and David; and a niece, Asia; therefore, be 
6it
  
 
7    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
8NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
9we, along with her family and friends, mourn the passing of 
10Krisnette Kimberly Harlan; and be it further
  
 
11    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
12presented to the family of Krisnette Harlan as an expression of 
13our sympathy.
