| 2 | | WHEREAS, Captain Ron Atchison has been a member of Kankakee |
| 3 | | Fire Fighters International Association of Fire Fighters Local |
| 4 | | 653 for over 26 years; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Cpt. Atchison began his firefighting career with |
| 6 | | the City of Kankakee Fire Department on December 6, 1988; and
|
| 7 | | WHEREAS, Cpt. Atchison has worked his way through the ranks |
| 8 | | as Firefighter, Lieutenant, and Captain; and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Cpt. Atchinson retired from the Kankakee Fire |
| 10 | | Department on May 6, 2015; therefore, be it
|
| 11 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 12 | | NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we |
| 13 | | congratulate Captain Ron Atchison on his retirement and |
| 14 | | recognize the contributions he has given to the Kankakee Fire |
| 15 | | Department and the International Association of Fire Fighters |
| 16 | | Local 653 and we wish him the best in all his future endeavors; |
| 17 | | and be it further
|
| 18 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 19 | | presented to Cpt. Atchison as an expression of our esteem and |
| 20 | | respect.
