HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Petty 
4Officer 2nd Class Ryan D. Burris of Lisle, who passed away on 
5May 21, 2015; and
  
 
  
6    WHEREAS, Petty Officer Burris was temporarily assigned to 
7the Crisis Response Element of Joint Special Operations Task 
8Force-Arabian Peninsula, Special Operations Command Central, 
9United States Central  Central Command; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Petty Officer Burris was celebrated as a witty, 
11hard-working, kind-hearted, and ambitious sailor; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Petty Officer Burris was preceded in death by his 
13grandparents, Robert Derdzinski and  Edward and Alice Burris; 
14and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Petty Officer Burris was the loving son of Karen 
16and Daniel; the protective brother of Tamara (Brett) Rotelli 
17and Audrey; the proud and devoted uncle of Giuliana and Nello 
18Rotelli; the grandson of Eleanor Derdzinski; the godson of 
19Eileen (Scott) Newman and Jack (Annette) Leonard; and the 
20nephew, cousin, and friend to many; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
2NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we 
3mourn the passing of Petty Officer 2nd Class Ryan D. Burris, 
4and extends our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and 
5all who knew and loved him; and be it further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to the family of Petty Officer Burris as an 
8expression of our deepest sympathy.
