HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives with to congratulate Sister M. Christine 
4Crowder, FSGM on 50 years as a member of the Sisters of St. 
5Francis of the Martyr St. George; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Sister Crowder professed her vows on March 19, 
71966 in Alton; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Sister Crowder holds a Bachelor of Science in 
9Nursing from Saint Louis University and a Masters in 
10Spirituality from the Notre Dame Institute in Middleburg, 
11Virginia; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Sister Crowder has served as a registered nurse 
13and in pastoral care at Saint Anthony's Health Center in Alton 
14and as postulant director, junior director, and provincial 
15vicar at the St. Francis Convent in Alton; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Sister Crowder currently serves as 
17superior/administrator of Mother of Good Counsel Home in St. 
18Louis, Missouri; and
  
 
19    WHEREAS, Sister Crowder is a native of St. Louis, Missouri; 
20therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
2NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we 
3congratulate Sister M. Christine Crowder, FSGM on 50 years as a 
4member of the Sisters of St. Francis of the Martyr St. George; 
5and be it further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to Sister Crowder as an expression of our esteem and 
8respect.
