HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to congratulate  Claudia Kubarycz on the 
4occasion of her performance with the All-State Orchestra on 
5January 31, 2015; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Claudia Kubarycz is a 16-year old junior at 
7Ridgewood High School and a resident of Norridge; she plays the 
8saxophone in the Ridgewood High School band and serves as one 
9of the drum majors and section leaders; she also studies violin 
10outside of school; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, In October of 2014, Claudia Kubarycz auditioned 
12for and was accepted to the Illinois Music Educators 
13Association District 1 Orchestra in the 1st violin section, 5th 
14chair placement out of approximately 40 violinists who were 
15accepted and over 150 violinists who auditioned; she 
16subsequently performed at a festival at Lincoln Way West High 
17School in November of 2014; in December of 2014, she found out 
18that she was accepted to play at the State level; after 
19rehearsing, she performed in a concert with the All-State 
20Orchestra, made up of the finest high school violinists in the 
21State, on January 31, 2015 at the Peoria Civic Center; and
  
 
22    WHEREAS, Claudia Kubarycz is the first musician to make it

1to the State level from Ridgewood High School since 1995; and

  
 
2    WHEREAS, Claudia Kubarycz serves as a model of hard work, 
3integrity, and dedication for the people of the State of 
4Illinois; therefore, be it
  
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
6NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we 
7congratulate Claudia Kubarycz on the occasion of her 
8performance with the All-State Orchestra and wish her continued 
9success and happiness in the future; and be it further
  
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
11presented to Claudia Kubarycz as a symbol of our esteem and 
12respect.
