Amends the Procurement of Domestic Products Act. Provides that all motor vehicles purchased or leased for one year or more by a State agency shall have a Vehicle Identification Number that begins with the number one, the number 2, the number 4, or the number 5. Effective January 1, 2016.

| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The Public Funds Statement Publication Act is |
| 5 | | amended by adding Section 10.5 as follows:
|
| 6 | | (30 ILCS 15/10.5 new) |
| 7 | | Sec. 10.5. North American-made vehicles. All motor
|
| 8 | | vehicles purchased or leased for one year or more by a State |
| 9 | | agency, on or
after the effective date of this amendatory Act |
| 10 | | of the 99th
General Assembly, shall have a Vehicle |
| 11 | | Identification Number
that begins with the number one, the |
| 12 | | number 2, the number 4, or
the number 5. Nothing in this |
| 13 | | Section shall require a State
agency to stop using any vehicle |
| 14 | | that exists in the State fleet
of motor vehicles on the |
| 15 | | effective date of this amendatory Act
of the 99th General |
