| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The State Commemorative Dates Act is amended by |
| 5 | | adding Section 190 as follows:
|
| 6 | | (5 ILCS 490/190 new) |
| 7 | | Sec. 190. Family Caregivers Month. The month of November in |
| 8 | | each year is designated as Family Caregivers Month to be |
| 9 | | observed throughout the State as a month to recognize the |
| 10 | | sacrifice made by family caregivers and the assistance they |
| 11 | | provide to help people who are affected by illness, injury, or |
| 12 | | disability lead more independent lives.
