SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Kevin L. Rodgers of Wonder Lake, who 
4passed away on November 10, 2014; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Kevin Rodgers was born on March 13, 1958 in 
6Chicago; his parents were Frank P., Sr. and Diane L. (nee 
7Pierpaoli) Rodgers; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Kevin Rodgers was raised in Wonder Lake; he 
9attended Harrison Elementary School in Wonder Lake and Marian 
10Central Catholic High School in Woodstock; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Kevin Rodgers served as a fireman and paramedic 
12with the Wonder Lake Fire Department; he was also employed by 
13A-TEC Ambulance; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Kevin Rodgers loved horses and enjoyed taking care 
15of his horses at Happy Trails Stables; he also worked part-time 
16in and around the stable, where he also served as a trail 
17guide; and
  
 
18    WHEREAS, Kevin Rodgers is survived by 2 sons, Kevin 
19(Jenifer) Rodgers and Tony (Jillian) Rodgers; 4 grandchildren, 
20Aiden, Emma, Alexis, and Samantha; his parents; and 3 siblings,

1Frank (Jennifer Bazan) Rodgers, Jr., Jetta Rodgers, and Louis 
2M. Rodgers; therefore, be it
  
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
5family and friends, mourn the passing of Kevin L. Rodgers; and 
6be it further
  
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
8presented to the family of Kevin Rodgers as an expression of 
9our sympathy.
