SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Richard "Ricko" Palmer of Johnsburg, who 
4passed away on October 6, 2014; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Richard Palmer was born on March 12, 1944 in 
6Libertyville; his parents were Clark and Lauretta Palmer; he 
7married Judy Palmer on November 20, 1965; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Richard Palmer graduated from Libertyville High 
9School in 1963; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Richard Palmer worked for the Frank G. Hough 
11Company/International Harvester Corporation for 27 years; he 
12later worked for ZF Industries; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Richard Palmer was a former member of the McHenry 
14Moose Lodge; he was also a volunteer for Senior Services in 
15McHenry and an election judge; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Richard Palmer enjoyed his family fishing 
17vacations, fast cars, and bowling; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Richard Palmer was preceded in death by his 
19parents and his father-in-law, Arthur Halle; and

1    WHEREAS, Richard Palmer is survived by his wife, Judy; 3 
2children, Brian (Kathleen) Palmer, Rikki (Christine) Palmer, 
3and Cindy (Lane) McConnell; 6 grandchildren; a 
4great-granddaughter; and 3 sisters; therefore, be it
  
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
7family and friends, mourn the passing of Richard "Ricko" 
8Palmer; and be it further
  
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
10presented to the family of Richard Palmer as an expression of 
11our sympathy.
