SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Henry M. "Hank" Juiris, who passed away 
4on August 27, 2014; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Henry Juiris was born on December 8, 1939 in 
6Chicago; his parents were Jeanette and Anthony "Pete" Juiris; 
7he was a former resident of Park Ridge before living in Vernon 
8Hills for the past 11 years; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Henry Juiris was the owner of an Ace Hardware 
10store in Chicago; he also invested in real estate, owned a 
11retirement community in Wisconsin, and had many other business 
12endeavors throughout his life; and

  
 
13    WHEREAS, Henry Juiris enjoyed boating and fishing in 
14various places in northern Wisconsin; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Henry Juiris was preceded in death by his parents 
16and his brother, Erv Juiris; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Henry Juiris is survived by his beloved wife, 
18Christine Juiris; 4 children, Mark (Tahira) Juiris, Steven 
19(Cindy) Juiris, Peter (Elizabeth) Juiris, and Mary Juiris; 8 
20grandchildren, Aaron, Aayan, Allison, Kayla, Cody, Sarah,

1Chase, and Ella; a sister, Virginia (Casey) Davidson; a 
2sister-in-law Phyllis Juiris; his loving in-laws, the Firlit 
3family; and many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
  
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
6family and friends, mourn the passing of Henry M. "Hank" 
7Juiris; and be it further
  
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
9presented to the family of Henry Juiris as an expression of our 
10sympathy.
