SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Kathy Lynn Rude of Vernon Hills, who 
4passed away on May 24, 2014; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Kathy Lynn Rude was born on May 29, 1959 in 
6Chicago; her parents were Everett Marvin and Marilyn Ruth (nee 
7Steinweg) Rude; she was raised in Wheeling and was a 1977 
8graduate of Wheeling High School; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, After high school, Kathy Lynn Rude began a career 
10in the mortgage/investment lending field at Sears; she 
11continued with the company through ownership changes with PNC, 
12Chase, and Washington Mutual; for the past 7 years, she was 
13employed in investor accounting by Dovenmuehle in Lake Zurich; 
14and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Kathy Lynn Rude enjoyed reading, country western 
16dancing, needlepoint, cooking, and baking; and

  
 
17    WHEREAS, Kathy Lynn Rude is survived by her parents, 
18Everett and Marilyn Rude; a brother, Marvin (Brenda) Rude; a 
19sister, Deborah (James) Nihei; 3 nephews, James Nihei, Justin 
20(Maria) Nihei, and Daniel Rude; and a niece, Kayla Rude;

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her 
3family and friends, mourn the passing of Kathy Lynn Rude; and 
4be it further
  
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to the family of Kathy Lynn Rude as an expression of 
7our sympathy.
