SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Patricia Ruth Girardi of Wadsworth, who 
4passed away on June 13, 2014; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Patricia Girardi was born on June 18, 1927 to Ruth 
6(nee Lawson) and Joseph Busch; she graduated from Waukegan High 
7School; she married Albert, a World War II United States Army 
8veteran and survivor of the D-Day invasion and European 
9campaign; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Patricia Girardi worked for Sears Roebuck and 
11Company and the Illinois Bell Telephone Company in Waukegan; 
12she retired after 30 years as a purchasing agent for the 
13Johns-Manville Corporation in Waukegan; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Patricia Girardi and her family were dedicated 
15members of St. Anastasia Church; and
  
 
  
16    WHEREAS, Patricia Girardi had 4 children, Kathleen (Ron) 
17Kuziel, Tom (Diane) Girardi, John, and Susan (Dave) Early; 10 
18grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren; therefore, be it
  
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
20ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of

1Patricia Ruth Girardi, and extend our sincere condolences to 
2her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
