SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Annapurna "Purni" Antisdel of Urbana, who 
4passed away on February 22, 2014; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Annapurna Antisdel was born in Ketchikan, Alaska 
6on October 2, 1982 to Richard and Barbara (nee Rayska) 
7Antisdel; she graduated from Urbana High School in 2004 and 
8attended the Developmental Services Center, where she 
9participated in The Prompting Theater; and
  
 
  
10    WHEREAS, Annapurna Antisdel was a member of the Ananda 
11Marga spiritual community; she enjoyed music and musical 
12theater and for many years played baseball in the Challenger 
13League in Champaign-Urbana; recently she had joined Best 
14Buddies International; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Annapurna Antisdel was preceded in death by her 
16grandfathers, and by her maternal grandmother; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, Annapurna Antisdel is survived by her parents, and 
18by her grandmother, Evelyn Antisdel; therefore, be it
  
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
20ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of

1Annapurna "Purni" Antisdel, and extend our sincere condolences 
2to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be 
3it further
  
 
4    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be

6of our deepest sympathy.
