| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Elizabeth Jean Grotberg of Batavia, who |
| 4 | | passed away on February 21, 2014; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Elizabeth Grotberg was preceded in death by her |
| 6 | | parents, Roy and Icie Shierling, and by her husband, the |
| 7 | | Honorable John E. Grotberg; and
|
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Elizabeth Grotberg is survived by her daughter, |
| 9 | | Melinda Oswalt-Ramsden; her son, Ben (Michele) Oswalt; her |
| 10 | | step-daughters, Sandra (Chuck Barbour) Grotberg, Karen (Lloyd) |
| 11 | | Weinberg; her step-son, James (Karen Rubner) Grotberg; her |
| 12 | | grandchildren, Jennifer, Robbyn, Heidi, Ben, Joe, Anna, and |
| 13 | | John; and her 8 great-grandchildren; therefore, be it
|
| 14 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL |
| 15 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
| 16 | | Elizabeth Jean Grotberg, and extend our sincere condolences to |
| 17 | | her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it |
| 18 | | further

| 19 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 20 | | presented to the family of Elizabeth Grotberg as an expression |
| 21 | | of our deepest sympathy.
